Committee functions: (1) to serve as liaison between GLA and the legislative bodies of local, state & national governments, (2) to communicate desired goals of libraries to these legislatures, (3) to inform the Executive Board of pending legislation affecting libraries, and (4) to coordinate Library Day activities in Atlanta and Washington.
Members: a Chair and representatives from public, school, special, and academic libraries.
