Lisa Smith In 2005, I earned an M.Ed in Instructional Technology, and in July of 2006, I returned full-time to Georgia Southern to work once again in the Information Services Department. My major responsibility centers on information literacy. I recently served on the Georgia Southern First-Year Experience (FYE) Taskforce which undertook the challenge of revising the First-Year Student Orientation course and other aspects of the first year experience. While serving on that Task Force, I worked to ensure that information literacy was included in the list of learning outcomes. In addition to working closely with the FYE, I serve as the subject specialist and liaison to the School of Nursing, Department of Mathematics, and Department of Biology. I have presented at COMO several times, both on health education topics and information literacy. Throughout my years in the field I have enjoyed attending the Academic Division programs.
