2008 GLA MID-WINTER CONFERENCE
Dear GLA Members,
The GLA Mid-Winter Conference will be Friday, January 25, 2008, at the Downs Continuing Education Center at Clayton State University in Morrow, Georgia.
This is an important meeting for all members to attend and participate in planning for the coming year. You will have the opportunity to serve on a GLA committee and meet with colleagues in library division and interest group sessions. I encourage you to register and mail your committee preference form.
Kate Nevins, Executive Director of SOLINET, will be the keynote speaker.
The meeting will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. There is a registration fee of $25, which will include a continental breakfast and a hot lunch buffet. The breakfast and registration period runs until 9:45 A.M. and the business meeting will begin promptly at 9:45 A.M. Members of the GLA Executive Board will meet from 2:15 to 3:30 after the planning meeting concludes. Registration forms must be received by January 18, 2008 to assure your lunch reservation.

The closest hotels are clustered around Exit 233 of Interstate 75. Ample campus parking is available next to the Downs Center.
