Registration Form GLA MID-WINTER CONFERENCEDear GLA Members, The GLA Mid-Winter Conference will be Friday, December 5, 2008, at the Downs Continuing Education Center at Clayton State University in Morrow, Georgia. This is an important meeting for all members to attend and participate in planning for the coming year. You will have the opportunity to serve on a GLA committee and meet with colleagues in library division and interest group sessions. I encourage you to register and mail your committee preference form. Karen G. Schneider, Community Librarian for EQUINOX, will be the keynote speaker. Her topic is "Changing Tires on a Moving Vehicle: The risks and opportunities of leadership in difficult times." The meeting will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. There is a registration fee of $25, which will include a continental breakfast and a hot lunch buffet. The breakfast and registration period runs until 9:45 A.M. and the business meeting will begin promptly at 9:45 A.M. Members of the GLA Executive Board will meet from 2:15 to 3:30 after the planning meeting concludes. Registration forms must be received by December 1, 2008 to assure your lunch reservation.
