| GLA Divisions (Circle divisions you want to join) Academic Library/Georgia ACRL Chapter fosters professional growth and development among Georgia College and University librarians. Georgia Library Trustees, Friends and Advocates Association furthers the work of the libraries in the state and encourages trustees, friends and advocates to advance the cause of superior libraries for the benefit of the people of Georgia. New Members Round Table recruits new members into GLA and helps individual members orient themselves to their new profession. Paraprofessional promotes the involvement of members in GLA through educational and networking opportunities at conferences and in other settings. Public Library provides exchange of ideas and experiences and stimulates continued professional growth. School Library Media is interested in the improvement and extension of library media services to children and youth. Special Libraries and Information Services advances the interests of special libraries through professional contacts and promotes the improvement of existing special collections in the state. |
