The Georgia Library Association invites you to participate in our search for a site for our 2021 and 2022 conferences. Please use the following information for your bid:
Preferred date: 2021 – October 6-8; 2022 – October 5-7
Alternate date: 2021 – October 13-15; 2022 – October 12 – 15
Projected Attendance: 500-550
Sleeping Rooms for 400 room nights
Space Requirements:
- Projected Vendor Spaces (10×10): 50
- Space for 2-4 pre-conferences on Wednesday morning
- Space for a 12-15 concurrent sessions Wednesday afternoon – Friday morning
- Space for an entertainment event (approximately 100 people) on Wednesday evening
- Space for Keynote sessions for approximately 400 people
- Space for an All-Conference Luncheon (approximately 350 people)
- Space for the Scholarship Raffle (approximately 12 six-foot tables)
- Space for Poster Sessions
- Space for Authors Reception (approximately 20 authors) with bartender(s) for beer and wine
- Space for a potential Breakfast meeting
Proposals are due March 20, 2020. The Site Selection Committee will announce a date for presentations following review of the proposals. These presentations should last 20 minutes with questions to follow. Proposals must include pricing.
Pricing should include:
- Estimated function space fees
- Breakdown of technology charges per meeting room
- Keynote/auditorium A/V technology pricing
- Catering package costs
