Laura Burtle, GLA President, announced today that Wendy Cornelisen will assume the Vice President/President-Elect position for the remainder of 2020, and serve as GLA President in 2021.
Oscar Gittemeier, GLA’s current VP/President-Elect, accepted a fantastic opportunity as the new director of library services at the Teton County Library in Jackson, WY. We will certainly miss him!
Janice Shipp, GLA’s VP for Membership, the position that by the GLA constitution would step in, is not able to assume the presidency for 2021 and will continue her excellent service as VP for Membership.
