The Georgia Library Association’s Technical Services Interest Group is pleased to announce a free virtual workshop!
July 14th, 2- 3 PM.
Customizing the Connexion Client to Work for You
More about the Workshop:
OCLC’s Connexion Client has a number of built-in tools to help catalogers save time and energy through customizations that provide controlled automation and ensure consistency. We’ll review a few of these tools, specifically Text Strings, Key Maps, and Macros, along with some resources that provide additional shortcuts.
More about the Speaker:
Emily Williams is the Cataloging & Metadata Librarian at the Georgia State University Library. She currently serves her professional community as a member of the GLA Carterette Webinar Series team and an officer on the GIL Cataloging Committee. While she enjoys some aspects of working remotely, she’s looking forward to splitting her work time between home and the library when she can see and talk with her colleagues in person, and take a break to garden to dead head some flowers and fill up the bird bath.
Note: Please only register if you are attending the live session. Attendees will receive a certificate for Continuing Education credit.
The workshop will be recorded and the link will be posted on the GLA TSIG webpage and various listservs after the event.
The GLA TSIG Workshop Committee would like to thank the LaGrange College Frank & Laura Lewis Library for hosting this event.
