Registration is Open for the 2024 Joint GLC with SGA The Georgia Library Association and the Society of Georgia Archivists are co-hosting the joint Georgia Libraries Conference (GLC) and Society of Georgia Archivists Annual Meeting. It will be held in-person October 2-4 , 2024, at the Classic Center in Athens, GA. This conference is a place for our members and guests to showcase their professional and scholarly accomplishments with our profession at large. Our theme this year is Leading Georgia Forward, Together. As the first joint conference for the Georgia Library Association and the Society of Georgia Archivists, this year's GLC is a special opportunity to celebrate and engage with leaders in the library and archive community whose work makes a positive impact across our state. Our featured keynote speaker for the joint conference will be Dr. Aisha Johnson (she/her), Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Outreach at Georgia Institute of Technology Library, whose leadership and advocacy embody the important connections between libraries and archives. While the conference will be held in person, it will continue to include a virtual component. This will consist of pre-recorded sessions and asynchronous Q&A sessions. Virtual materials will be available October 15-17, 2024. Registration is now available on this site. Hotel and lodging information is also located on this site.
