Licensing for Accessibility: Ask Me Anything

  • Fri, August 23, 2024
  • 2:00 PM

At the end of 2022, the E-Resources Management Working Group of the Triangle Research Libraries Network (TRLN) published a guide to negotiating accessibility with vendors. This guide is meant to serve as a reference tool for library staff involved in licensing and e-resources management as they advocate for strong accessibility assurances in their formal contracts with service and content providers. In the process of creating the guide, the working group members were reminded of the incredible value of asking questions, having discussions, and sharing experiences when it comes to license negotiation. With that in mind, please join us at this Ask Me Anything session to discuss licensing and accessibility with a larger community. We’ll give a brief presentation on the background of the project and then open up the room to questions.

Already know what you want to ask? Please fill out this online form, and we’ll respond during the session.

The following links are helpful resources that will inform the discussion:

-Webinar recording, Licensing E-Resources for Accessibility, Library Accessibility Alliance, October 2023, 52 minutes

*Note: This session will not be recorded. Want to participate? You’ll need to attend the live session.
