Conference Details
Registration is now open for the 2023 Georgia Libraries Conference (GLC). This year’s conference will be in-person October 4-6, 2023 in Athens, GA, with a virtual option to follow the next week October 10-12, on the Whova platform. Options include full conference registration, single day registration, and virtual conference registration.
GLC is a place for our members and guests to showcase their professional and scholarly accomplishments with our profession at large. Our theme this year is “We’ve Got Stories to Tell.” This is your opportunity to explore the diversity of perspectives and experiences that contribute to the vibrancy of our association and the libraries in which we work. Count yourself in to be inspired by sessions, motivated by educational opportunities, to collaborate and network, engage in information and idea sharing, and celebrate each other.
While GLC will be held in person, GLA will continue to utilize the online platform Whova for the conference. In doing so the conference will also include a virtual component October 10-12, which will consist of pre-recorded sessions and asynchronous Q&A sessions hosted on the Whova platform.
