Meaghan Davidson, has been awarded the ALA Tony B. Leisner Scholarship (An annual scholarship consisting of $3,000 to a library support-staff member who is pursuing an MLS in an ALA-accredited program.) Meaghan is the Young Adult Specialist at the Fortson Branch of the Henry County Public Library.
Help us congratulate the 2020 Class of Certified Public Library Administrators. The CPLA program is a voluntary, post-MLS certification program for public librarians with three or more years of supervisory experience. CPLA candidates must complete coursework in seven of nine competency/standard areas. Radha Ashok, Dacula, GA successfully completed the program requirements and received the Certified Public Library Administrators (CPLA) designation from ALA in 2020.
